Positives first. I really like the design of this sink, and the accessories are great quality and well thought-out. The depth is excellent, and the capacity is very generous. As far as material goes, it's a pretty standard cast stone product, so it should be pretty durable and much quieter than a typical stainless sink (even with deadening pads). The packaging is excellent, a lot of thought went into ensuring that this thing would make its journey without any headaches, and I love seeing that from a manufacturer.So with the good-to-great addressed, we have to explore the rest of it.My sink arrived in a very much intact box, but there was a small chip out of the flange. Probably nothing to worry about, and nearly impossible to photograph well thanks to the black resin casting, but still not something I would accept delivery on if it arrived from a local home centre as it's impossible to tell what kind of material stresses that may have caused. Unfortunately, as this is an online-only purchase, the return and exchange options are pretty challenging; there's no way I'd want the post office to have to deal with this, nor do I feel inclined to cart it off to a courier who tends not to deal in furniture.Customer service is responsive and pleasant, but you're dealing with phone tag or messaging if you do have any issues. So I feel like this might be an item best purchased locally, as this is priced right up with similar items in most of the usual stores.If you're willing to take the chance on receiving a perfect sink, I will reiterate that this one is very nice and comes with some great accessories, but it's just not a gamble I'd personally want to take if I were in the middle of a kitchen renovation.
